Guidelines for Writer Submission

We are looking for Southern Nomad Travelers–the storytellers, the adventurers, the authors, to explore with us. For those with literary brilliance and a thirst for travel, we want to take your work to address our global audience.
This is a remote, collaborative opportunity for those whose every minute is dedicated to working for the opportunity to travel, adventurers with a purpose.

Our Creational Values

It is true that we respect the work you do. We even take some time to release our submissions for the many narratives we have to go through. We choose the best, the ones that are the most narrative and the most compelling.
Authenticity is non-negotiable: We consider only original myths and stories that have not been published elsewhere. We do not work with previously published or cross-posted content.
Approximately travel: The style is free; we will consider any genre that advances the travel theme, including extreme travel and even the place’s deep culture.

What to include in the submission

To ensure that it is worth our while to consider your submission, I would advise you to include the following three levels in your submission:
The Hook: What is the heart of your story? The single most important aspect. Define the main point that will captivate our readers.
Value Proposition: Why is this topic important? What does it uniquely offer to our audience? Please provide 5 bullet points.
Catchy Titles: Please provide 3 alternative titles.
The Teasers:

  • Long teaser (no more than 30 words).
  • Short teaser (no more than 180 characters, suitable for social media).

Word Count: We prefer longer pieces, so a minimum of 1200 words is required.
Visuals: Minimum of one image, landscape orientation, 1500 x 900 px, under 800 kb.
Author Bio: We’ll also require a short professional bio and a high-resolution photo of yourself.

Note:

Due to the volume of pitches we receive, we are not able to accept all of them. We will reach out to you to discuss next steps if your story aligns with our current editorial needs.
